Change My Partners Look

This is a similar project that we had to do, but this time it was change my partners look. At first i changed the color of her hair and eyes and then I selected my partner out of her original background and put her in this Las Vegas one and then added 3 other images. The 3 other images were the airplane, the trash can, and the bench.

Change My Look

For this project we had to change the look of ourselves. We had to first take ourselves out of our original background and then put oursleves in the new one.We had to change our hair and eye color and also add 3 other images. The 3 other images that I decided to choose were, the 2 squirrels and the blue butterfly.

Change the Look

For this project we had to change the look of a celebrity. I decided to choose Michael Phelps, and change his hair to blue and his eye to green. His orginial hair color was brown and his eye color was blue.

Montage

This was another project that I did that practiced all of the tools that we have used so far in the year. We had to put the roses, the coin, euros, the 2 photos (of the couple and of the Coliseum), and the pen onto the passport background. The we had to use different layering styles to add different styles to the photos and to the other objects as well.

Layer Masks

For this project we had to get a landscape and then a different background. We had to put the two together to make a new image but we also had to blend them together. We had to put a tree but also 3 other images into the photo as well. We had to hide the background of the other images using a new tool called the "hide/show" tool.

Landscape

This is another piece that I did in photoshop. We had to use 5 different tools to make a new image from a landscape background. I created a turtle and it wasn't that easy with some of the tools that we had to use.

Magic Wand

This is something that I created in photoshop with the magic wand tool. We had to copy the orange pieces but not get the blue parts. Then once we did that we had to create an image with the orange pieces that we had cut out.

Choice

For this photo we got to choose what we wanted to do with the photo. I chose to brighten it with the brightness and contrast feature. At first the photo was dark and the colors were also kind of dull so I decided that it needed to be brightened with this tool.

Invert

With this photo I used the invert tool. This allowed me to change the color to the inverse of the original color. This is probably one of the coolest features.

Photo Filter

For this image I used the photo filter which allowed me to brighten the photo along with changing the color a little bit. With the photo filter I was able to change the picture with the "warming" feature along with a little orange tint.

Vibrance

For this image i used the vibrance tool. This tool allowed me to brighten the oranges and the background. At first the image was kind of dark but with this tool I was able to brighten it.

Hue and Saturation

This is one of my favorites. You can change the color of an object or the whole picture to any colors that you want. i just did the inverse of the photo and brought out the bright colors.

Color Balance

This photo I edited with color balance to bring out more of the brighter colors. I also brought out the colors in the bookcase.

Brightness

This is another photo that I edited with just brightness. I altered the brightness because at first it was dark and I wanted to bring more of the colors out in the photo.

Black and White

We leaned how to edit photos and make them look better than when we took them. We got to choose which pictures we wanted to edit with which style of edits. This one I chose to do in black and white.

Crazy Combos

This project is the most recent of the projects (2-3-2012). We had to choose different animals and animal parts to create a new one and name it. We leanred some new tools, but we still had to use the old ones as well to help us with making the new animal. We leanred the cloning tool, the flipping tool, and how to blend all  of the different animal patterns together.

All About ME

This was my second project that I did. It took me a little longer to do since I was still getting use to all of the tools that I had to use. We had to choose 10 things that represented us as a person and put our name on it. All the things that I chose represented me and either the things that I like to do or are a part of my life.

Peppers

This was my first project in digital imaging. How I did it was I cut out the peppers from their original background and pasted them on a image of a cutting board from Google.
